Exam Information for Students (KS3)
Please read the information below and make sure you understand it.
- You should have an examination timetable showing clearly when your exams and your revision lessons will take place.
- All examinations will be held in the Auditorium unless otherwise stated.
- You must arrive at the Auditorium 10 minutes before the exam is scheduled to begin. Line up in tutor groups and in register order, unless instructed otherwise.
- Make sure you have plenty of revision materials with you for revision lessons.
- Mobile phones should be stored in your locker. Please ensure that your locker is locked. If you bring your mobile phone into the examination hall, it must be handed in before the start of the exam.
- You may bring a clear water container to drink from. Remove labels from any water bottles.
- Blue or black pen (more than one) - you must write in pen
- Pencil x 2. Coloured pencils may be used for diagrams, maps, charts etc.
- Ruler
- Eraser and sharpener
- Scientific calculator (not graphical). PLEASE REMOVE THE CASE/COVER!
- An angle measurer, protractor
- Highlighter if you think you may need one
- You must use blue or black pen and not a pencil except for graphs and diagrams. You must not use liquid paper / correction fluid under any circumstances.
- You must not talk or look around during an examination.
- Read all instructions on examination papers very carefully.
- You may not borrow anything from other candidates.
- You may not go to the bathroom during the examination unless this is a real emergency.
- When you are told to stop writing, you must do just that.
- You are not allowed to ask any questions unless the question paper is incomplete or badly printed.
- When dismissed from the Auditorium, please follow the directions on your timetable.

see-through container:
