El examen tendrá el formato de PAESITA. Estará estructurado en 4 partes: Parte 1 (Lectura comprensiva), Parte 2 (Poesía), Parte 3 (Gramática y Ortografía). En la Parte 4 debe seleccionar UNO de los planteamientos para escribir una redacción.

1. Lectura comprensiva: El alumno deberá responder a una serie de preguntas relacionadas al texto primero del examen.

2. Poesía: a través de una serie de ejercicios, el alumno seleccionará la respuesta correcta.

Section 1 - Knowledge based section - 7 short answer questions. Answer all questions.

You are advised to spend about 10 minutes on this section.

There are 20 marks available for this section

Section 2- Source analysis – inferences, usefulness and reliability of sources. 2 questions answer both of them.

You are advised to spend about 20 minutes on this section.

There are 15 marks available for this section

Section 3 - Essay there will be a choice of 4 essay questions. You have to write an essay plan and then answer one of the questions.

You are advised to spend about 30 minutes on this section.

There are 20 marks (5 marks for your essay plan & 15 marks for the essay).

Introduction

In the introduction introduce the topic and question you are answering.

Middle

Write one paragraph about each point

Structuring a paragraph

In the first sentence of the paragraph state the point

In the rest of the paragraph give evidence to prove your point is correct and explain how that point made the event happen.

Remember to use the P.E.E formula.

Conclusion

Go back to the exact essay question and answer it.

Por favor no olviden traer la próxima semana el siguiente equipo a sus clases de arte:

1. El examen comenzará el lunes ( para los grupos que tengan clase entonces)

Eso significa que en 15 días se estarán cubriendo los 5 grupos de 7mo Grado.

El examen durará las 3 clases que tienen en esas dos semanas.

2. No se puede prestar material entre compañeros.

3. Las primeras dos clases son prácticas y la última es el examen teórico que consta de preguntas generales ( de su conocimiento en grados previos) témpera y acuarela
