Camping Money and Permission Due Friday

The teachers of Grade 5 would like every child to attend this year's camp. This is the third year that Grade 5 is going to Portezulo Park and the high school also runs trips there. It has a reputation for excellent food, safety and security.

The goal of this trip is to help prepare the Grade 5s for Secondary School and their continuing development in becoming 'Responsible Outstanding Citizens.' The Grade 5 team has put a lot of time and effort into making this camp an exciting, educational and memorable three days.

However, the most important thing is safety and security. Portezulo has their own private security and Politur will also be assisting with security. Eight teachers from ABC will be going on the trip along with eight parents, one of which has been chosen because she is a doctor. Cruz Verde will be on-site for the high ropes. Every child will be wearing a helmet and a harness and they have not had a serious injury in over 3000 participants. No child will be forced to participate, but they will be encouraged to challenge themselves.

I really hope every child is able to join us on this fantastic experience in this beautiful part of El Salvador!

If you have any questions or concerns please contact your child's teacher or Mr Hayward (Head of Grade 5).
