Dear Parents,
Reading is the most important skill that your children need to acquire in order to succeed in all areas of the curriculum. Please encourage your child to read regularly in Spanish and English during term time and, perhaps even more importantly, during the summer holidays. Act as a good model for your children and demonstrate the joy of reading. Read to and with your children, encourage them to read to you and talk about their reading material with them.
