Here are the posters Grade 6 worked on. The best quote will have a price, and the price will be that they get to go to Urban Dog Sanctuary and visit the dogs. Good luck to the best.

LIFE SKILLS SESSION
 - 21 September

Helping a dog shelter in El Salvador - Urban Dog Sanctuary

On Monday we had some special guests that came to visit the Grade 6 and talk a bit about compassion, reflection, humanity, and all those positive values that you as parents and we as teachers teach them.
The session was  compassion for animals, why should we help dog shelters? respect for those who cannot defend themselves...

We invited the Urban Dog Sanctuary and the idea of this session is to introduce them to our Grade 6 Charity Project that will be based on helping this dog shelter.

We asked your children who had dogs and almost all the class raised their hands, they were very excited with the session and a lot willing to help.

Tomorrow for our assembly we will be talking about how to enroll in this charity project that will go through out the whole year and the idea is that it will run for more years to come.

Friday, 28 August 2015

This is the PPT of our first assembly. We talked about  the secondary expectations, the correct use of uniform, how to get organised and Mr Spicer explained the new behaviour policy.
